PSIFUND - Crowdfunding
Introduction
Passive Income is looking to create a crowdfunding platform which will act as a new value stream and give PSI holders the ability to earn passive income through crowdfunding.
One of Passive Income’s core values is to ensure that we continue to help other people and make their lives better. This is why we will be integrating a donation based crowdfunding option for good causes and charities. All non-profit crowdfunding projects will be charged 0% commission.
Solution and proposition
Crowdfunding initiative completed the applications form that includes the following: Project idea, Funding goal, deadline, funding rewards.
Following the application, the Passive Income team will place the crowdfunding application into a relevant funding category based on their application form. Possible categories include: 2.1 PSI - CF - Equity based 2.2 PSI - CF - Reward based 2.3 PSI - CF - Debt based 2.4 PSI - CF - Donation based
For the first 3 categories (equity, reward and debt based), a x% commission will be charged on the total funding raised. This will then be shared with the PSI holders. For donation based applications no commission will be charged.
When the crowdfunding project starts, backers will be able to support the project with a range of cryptocurrencies.
When the crowdfunding deadline is reached there will be a short control check. If the funding target has not been reached, all investors will have their funds returned.
If the target has been reached, the project owner will receive the backed funds. In case of equity, reward and debt-based projects, the crowd funders will receive a return or reward on their investments. For donation based projects, there will be no reward or return as this constitutes a donation.

Future solution and proposition
Crowdfunding initiative applies for a campaign filling the applications form and the crowdfund initiative will be checked: Project idea, Funding goal, deadline, return rewards will be filled in per category.
When check is executed the crowdfunding campaign will be put into a category based on what the participant has filled in. Possible categories are 2.1 PSI - CF - Equity based 2.2 PSI - CF - Reward based 2.3 PSI - CF - Debt based 2.4 PSI - CF - Donation based
On 2.1 , 2.2, 2.3 a x% commission will be charged on 2.4 their will be no commission charged
When the crowdfunding will be started the crowd will have the ability to deposit in Cryptocurrencies.
When the crowdfunding deadline is reached there will be a short control check. When the target is not reached all investors will be returned all invested funds.
When the target is reached the private person or business applicant will get the crowdfunded funds. In case of 2.1, 2.2 & 2.3 the crowd funders will get return and reward on their investments. In case of 2.4 there will be no reward or return as this is a good cause.
